AdWords

What is AdWords?

AdWords was the original name of Google’s advertising platform, since July 2018, the system has been called “Google Ads.” The new name reflects the same concept: paid ads on the Search, Display, and Video networks, typically billed on a per-click basis. At Waterproof Web Wizard, we take the following into account: The term “AdWords” still appears in older documentation, but current campaign names, APIs, and billing are all under “Google Ads”, we use both names only when justified by the context.
