CMS Agency for TYPO3, WordPress, and Neos

Which content management system is right for your project? We give honest advice—and sometimes even recommend sticking with what you have.

You’re here because you’re looking for a content management system—or because you want to know if your current system is still the right fit for you. We’ve been working with all major CMS platforms in the German-speaking market since 2007: TYPO3, WordPress, Neos. As a CMS agency, we provide vendor-neutral advice because every system has its strengths—but none is a perfect fit for every project.

Dennis Hüttner conducts every initial consultation personally. No sales pitch for a specific solution. We look at your project, your requirements, and your budget—and tell you honestly which system is the right fit. Sometimes the conclusion is: “Your current system is perfectly adequate; you can skip the relaunch.”

Three Key Areas of CMS

TYPO3, WordPress, Neos

Our core systems, each with its own strengths.

01

TYPO3

Enterprise CMS with a strong German community. The best choice for multi-site setups, complex permission structures, multilingual support, and high security requirements. Our focus since 2007, versions 4 through 13.4 LTS. Details: TYPO3 agency, v13 upgrade, maintenance.

02

WordPress

The world’s most widely used CMS (approximately 43% market share). The best choice for websites with 3–20 pages, blogs, WooCommerce stores, and projects of manageable complexity. We develop custom themes without page builders. Details: WordPress agency, maintenance, security.

03

Neos CMS

A modern headless-capable CMS from the TYPO3 ecosystem. The best choice for projects with a strong focus on UX, structured content, and multi-channel publishing. Smaller community, technically very sound.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Choosing a CMS

Five direct answers.

How do I find the right CMS for my project?

During our free initial consultation, we’ll address three key questions: How big will the website be? Who will maintain it? What’s the appropriate budget? Based on these factors, we’ll recommend a system—or explain why none of the three options are a good fit and why you might be better off with a website builder like Wix or Squarespace.

Is TYPO3 really that much better than WordPress?

No, just different. TYPO3 is superior for enterprise scenarios, while WordPress clearly has the edge for smaller projects. The question is never “which one is better,” but rather “which one is right for me.”

Can I switch from WordPress to TYPO3 (or vice versa)?

Yes, we do that regularly. Important: Migration is more than just copying data. URL structure, 301 redirects, content structure, schema markup—everything needs to be rethought. Plan on 3–6 months for a complete migration.

How much does it cost to get started?

WordPress starting at €5,000 (smaller projects), TYPO3 starting at €15,000 (enterprise setup). Maintenance starting at €9.90/month (WordPress Starter) or customized (TYPO3). See the subpages for details.

Do you offer consultations even without a formal request?

The 15-minute initial consultation is free. A detailed CMS comparison (written document) takes 1–4 hours at €108/hour. If we are awarded the contract, we will apply these hours toward the project.
