Extension Development
Custom extensions tailored to your needs. Clean code that adheres to TYPO3 core standards, documented APIs, and testable with PHPUnit. PSR-compliant, Composer-based, and versioned via Git.
Enterprise-grade stability without vendor lock-in. Clean code, documented APIs, on-time deliveries.
We develop, migrate, and maintain TYPO3 projects from v4 to v13.4 LTS. As TYPO3 developers, we support agencies and companies with extension development, upgrades to the current LTS version, and ongoing maintenance. TYPO3 v13.4 LTS (since October 15, 2024) brings UI improvements, performance optimizations, and the latest security standards. We are already implementing it in production. Dennis Hüttner personally leads every project. The team handles the implementation.
Four key areas
Four areas, all in use since 2007, all proven in production.
Custom extensions tailored to your needs. Clean code that adheres to TYPO3 core standards, documented APIs, and testable with PHPUnit. PSR-compliant, Composer-based, and versioned via Git.
From v4 to v13. From v8 to v13. From v10 to v13. We’ve been through every TYPO3 upgrade over the past 18 years—including the versions no one likes to talk about.
Ongoing TYPO3 support: security updates, performance monitoring, bug fixes. Available as a maintenance retainer or on an hourly basis. Response time < 24 hours; critical security vulnerabilities are addressed even faster.
Complete relaunch on v13: concept, information architecture, template development, content migration, SEO redirect mapping. No off-the-shelf themes—every template is tailored to your needs.
Why choose us
TYPO3 holds about a 10% market share in Germany—making it the second most popular CMS after WordPress. The reason: enterprise requirements.
18 years of TYPO3 experience: We understand the architectural decisions behind every version. We know which extension concepts worked in v10 but no longer work in v12. This saves you time on research and reduces the effort required for migration.
We build close to the core. No framework overlays, no proprietary template system. The code resides in your Git repository and is documented according to TYPO3 standards. You can switch providers at any time—with a clean handover and complete documentation.
We specialize in TYPO3, WordPress, Neos, and SEO. These four disciplines go hand in hand—we’ve also worked on Shopware projects, but that’s no longer a primary focus. No app development, no SAP. TYPO3 development is our main focus—from backend configuration and extension programming to marketing frontend.
No gambling on freelancers. A limited liability company with a well-established team. Dennis leads, and the team executes. If someone gets sick, your project keeps moving forward. Standardized processes, documented code.
Process
Every TYPO3 project follows the same process. No project without an analysis, no launch without acceptance.
// Step 01 / 4 · Dauer ~ 3–5 days
Assessment: Version, extensions, hosting, issues. For upgrades: Compatibility check. For new installations: Requirements workshop.

Short answer: In most cases, yes. TYPO3 v13.4 LTS introduces UI improvements such as drag-and-drop in the Page module, performance optimizations, the latest security standards, and content blocks (a core feature since v13.2). Minimum requirement: PHP 8.2.
Typical cost for a v11→v13 upgrade: €3,000–10,000 net, depending on the number of extensions and the degree of customization. The Upgrade Wizard automates most migration steps. Critical factor: Third-party extensions that are not compatible with v13. We assess this during the analysis phase and provide a realistic timeline before commitment. Typical project duration: 2–6 weeks.

FAQ
Five direct answers on migration, the CMS election, and freelancers.
It depends on the use case. TYPO3 is clearly superior for multi-site setups, complex permissions, multilingual capabilities, compliance, and enterprise requirements. WordPress is better suited for smaller projects and marketing-focused sites. We give honest advice—if WordPress is a better fit, we’ll say so. Details: WordPress Agency.
Starting at €15,000 net for turnkey projects (extension development, relaunch). v13 upgrades at a fixed price starting at €4,999. Maintenance starting at €432/month. Hourly rate: €108/hour.
Yes. Hourly rate: €108/hour, billed in 15-minute increments. Also available for TYPO3 freelance projects—we provide the services as a limited liability company (GmbH), and you bill as a freelancer. White-label options available for agencies.
We keep our team small. Dennis personally oversees every project—no account managers in the way, no delegating tasks based on seniority. And all this for €108/hour instead of the typical agency rate of €150–250/hour.
Mittwald, Punkt.de, Hetzner Cloud (for our own servers). For maintenance packages, we check the hosting configuration. We don’t run our own hosting operations—this keeps us independent and you flexible.
During our initial consultation, we’ll determine whether an upgrade, maintenance, or a new project is the right fit for your situation. No hard sell.
