CrUX (Chrome User Experience Report)

Definition: A Google database containing anonymized performance metrics from real Chrome users. It provides the field data for PageSpeed Insights and Search Console.

Everyday analogy: Like TÜV statistics based on real repair shop reports, not on the manufacturer’s brochure.
