Deep Linking

What is deep linking?

Deep linking is the process of linking to a specific subpage, section, or defined app screen, rather than the home page. Users land exactly where they can find the content they’re looking for, without having to navigate first. In apps, deep links work via Universal Links (iOS) or App Links (Android). At Waterproof Web Wizard, we use deep linking for campaigns, support articles, and FAQ answers, the direct path to the destination keeps users on the page longer and measurably reduces the bounce rate.
