Markup Language
What is a markup language?
A markup language provides content with structural information, which parts are headings, which are paragraphs, and which are highlighted. Examples include HTML for websites, XML for data exchange, and Markdown for documentation. At Waterproof Web Wizard, we pay special attention to clean HTML, Schema.org markup, and semantic hierarchy, because search engines and AI systems can only understand content that is clearly structured.
