NLP (Natural Language Processing)

What is NLP (Natural Language Processing)?

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a subfield of artificial intelligence that deals with the processing of natural language by machines, speech recognition, translation, classification, sentiment analysis, and information extraction. Large language models (LLMs) such as GPT-5 or Claude are currently the most visible NLP applications. At Waterproof Web Wizard, we use NLP tools for content optimization (NeuronWriter), keyword clustering, and automated fact-checking, always with editorial oversight, never as an unmonitored autopilot.
