Plausible Analytics

What is Plausible Analytics?

Plausible Analytics is a streamlined, cookie-free web analytics tool that focuses on data privacy, a simple interface, and fast loading times. It operates without personally identifiable cookies, hosts data in the EU, and in many cases does not require a consent banner (subject to legal review). Plausible displays the most important metrics on a single screen and deliberately avoids the depth of GA4. At Waterproof Web Wizard, we recommend Plausible for smaller websites, landing page monitoring, and when only basic metrics are truly needed, for complex e-commerce analyses, GA4 or Matomo is the better choice.
