SEA
What is SEA?
SEA (Search Engine Advertising) refers to paid ads on search engines, typically displayed above or to the side of organic results. Billing is usually on a pay-per-click (PPC) basis. The dominant platforms are Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, supplemented by specialized options such as YouTube Ads. SEA delivers immediate results but incurs ongoing costs per click; SEO takes time to build but saves money in the long run. At Waterproof Web Wizard, we use SEA strategically where organic visibility is lacking or there isn’t enough time to build it up, never as a substitute for a solid SEO foundation.
