SERP (Search Engine Results Page)
Definition: The page displaying the search results that Google shows after a search query. It contains paid ads, organic results, maps, images, and AI overviews, depending on the search intent.
Everyday analogy: Like the window display of a shoe store. The premium models (ads) are at the front, the bestsellers (top rankings) are in the middle, and the complementary selection (maps, images) is on the sides.
How we use this: In our SEO audit, we analyze the SERP separately for each important keyword. What is the ad density? What SERP features are present? Who are the competitors?
