TCA (Table Configuration Array)
Definition: Central TYPO3 configuration that determines which fields exist in each database table and how they are displayed in the backend, input field, drop-down list, required field, tooltip.
Everyday analogy: Like the form at the registry office. TCA determines which fields must be filled out, which are optional, and what choices are available.
Why we use it: A well-configured TCA is essential for making editors’ work easier. We design the TCA so that SEO fields, alt text, and required content cannot be overlooked.
