User Experience (UX)

What is User Experience (UX)?

User Experience (UX) is a user’s overall experience with a digital product, system, or service, functionality, usability, aesthetics, emotion, and efficiency. UX is more than just usability: it also encompasses expectations, prior knowledge, and after-effects. UX is measured using the task completion rate, the System Usability Scale (SUS), NPS, session replays, and qualitative user testing. At Waterproof Web Wizard, we evaluate UX based on real user goals, not personal taste: the needs of the target audience take precedence over designer preferences.
