- Monthly Extension Compatibility Check
- Quarterly backup check

Monthly TYPO3 maintenance contract starting at €432. Critical patches within 24 hours, staging tests before every deployment. Dennis personally oversees the process.
TYPO3 doesn’t run on its own. Security updates, extension compatibility, PHP versions, performance monitoring—if you don’t check these regularly, you won’t notice problems until the damage is done. Unpatched TYPO3 is an open door: The TYPO3 Security Team regularly publishes advisories, and automated scanners often find unpatched installations within hours.
We handle ongoing TYPO3 maintenance (also known as TYPO3 support or TYPO3 management) for your installation: systematically, with full documentation, and with response times you can rely on. Dennis Hüttner personally oversees the maintenance. The team handles the implementation.
Maintenance Stack
Our TYPO3 maintenance is systematic and well-documented. No ad-hoc fixes—every step is traceable, and every update is tested on the staging environment beforehand.
# Maintenance stack security: TYPO3 security advisories · 24-hour response extensions: Weekly compatibility check staging: Test before every deployment # Monitoring performance: Load times + DB size + PHP resources backup: Restore test quarterly
Maintenance Services
All of these packages cover these topics to varying degrees.
TYPO3 core updates and extension updates in response to security advisories. We monitor TYPO3 security advisories, assess their relevance to your installation, and apply critical patches within 24 hours. Not "sometime"—not "when we have time."
Extensions that break after the next PHP or TYPO3 update are the most common problem. Check compatibility before every update, test on staging, and deploy only after approval. Third-party extensions without maintenance: identify them, recommend alternatives, or develop custom replacements.
Backend errors, blank frontend page, broken ERP interface—we can help. Priority given to maintenance retainer customers (response < 4 hours on business days). Ad-hoc hourly service: < 24-hour response. True emergencies outside business hours: Code Rescue < 30 min.
Load times, database size, cache configuration, PHP resources. Active monitoring with concrete actions—not just an automated dashboard that no one reads.
It’s not enough to simply have backups. You need to regularly check that the backups are complete and that the restore process works. In an emergency, what matters isn’t whether a backup exists—but whether it’s usable.
What's been updated, what security advisories have been issued, performance status, and what's coming up. No surprises, full transparency.
Maintenance packages
Can be canceled monthly; no minimum term. The maintenance contract covers only services and response times—you’re not locked into anything beyond the agreed-upon services.

Why choose us
What sets us apart from standard TYPO3 maintenance.
v4 through v13.4 LTS — we’ve supported every major version and seen every critical security advisory. Our expertise informs our assessment: not every update is equally urgent, but some cannot be delayed. We know the difference.
Maintenance can only be reliable if it doesn't depend on a single person. As a limited liability company with a well-coordinated team, we guarantee coverage during vacations and sick leave.
You get access to everything: code, documentation, and accounts. You can switch at any time. No proprietary solutions, no artificial dependencies.
For acute emergencies outside the scope of the maintenance package SLA: Code-Rescue with a response time of less than 30 minutes, even at night or on weekends, starting at €270/hour.
Security Commitment
We guarantee: Critical TYPO3 security advisories will be assessed within 24 hours on business days and patched immediately if there is an urgent risk. For Professional and Enterprise plans: within 4 or 2 hours on business days, respectively. If we fail to meet this standard due to our own negligence, we will refund the applicable monthly fee.
We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, or downtime caused by third parties (hosting providers, attackers exploiting zero-day vulnerabilities). This guarantee applies to our response to security advisories.

FAQ
Five direct answers about updates, hosting, and switching plans.
Critical security updates within 24 hours on business days (Basic/Standard), 4 hours (Professional), 2 hours (Enterprise). Regular updates monthly following staging tests. Major version upgrades are handled separately as projects — see v13 upgrade.
Yes — TYPO3 v13 requires PHP 8.2 or higher, sufficient RAM, and the appropriate database configuration. Based on our project experience, we recommend the following hosting partners: Mittwald, Punkt.de, or your own servers. For maintenance packages starting at the Standard level, we also review the hosting configuration.
With the Standard+ package: Staging test before every deployment. If issues still arise in production: quick rollback from backup. With the Professional+ package, the staging environment is available at all times.
Yes, at any time at the end of the month. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades require one month's notice.
In-house development typically costs €2,000–5,000 per month (pro-rated personnel costs + tool costs + risk buffer). External maintenance at €432–2,592 per month is usually more cost-effective and takes the pressure off the internal team.
During the initial consultation, we’ll determine which package is right for your TYPO3 installation. The handover typically takes place within one week.
