Do I need special hosting for TYPO3?

Yes — TYPO3 v13 requires PHP 8.2 or higher, sufficient RAM, and the appropriate database configuration. Based on our project experience, we recommend the following hosting partners: Mittwald, Punkt.de, or your own servers. For maintenance packages starting at the Standard level, we also review the hosting configuration.

What if updates cause problems?

With the Standard+ package: Staging test before every deployment. If issues still arise in production: quick rollback from backup. With the Professional+ package, the staging environment is available at all times.

Can I switch between plans?

Yes, at any time at the end of the month. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades require one month's notice.

How much does professional maintenance cost compared to doing it yourself?

In-house development typically costs €2,000–5,000 per month (pro-rated personnel costs + tool costs + risk buffer). External maintenance at €432–2,592 per month is usually more cost-effective and takes the pressure off the internal team.
