TYPO3 Speed-Build, Up and Running in 48 Hours

If the client meeting is in three days and the website doesn’t exist yet—we’ll deliver a fully functional TYPO3 build in 48 hours.

Not every TYPO3 project has six weeks to spare. Trade show deadlines, campaign launches, emergency relaunches after a hosting provider failure—we know the drill. Our Speed Build process delivers a clean, deployable TYPO3 site on v14 LTS in 48 hours, 5 days, or 10 days—depending on the scope. No throwaway code. Everything is extensible. Speed Build Stack

Wie wir 48 Stunden einhalten

A Speed-Build isn’t a disposable product. We use a production-ready base template that we configure—not build—for each project. Content blocks are predefined, the site package is Composer-based, and deployment takes just a few minutes.

Scope control is the critical factor: What goes in, and what goes into Phase 2? We define the MVP scope together before we start—no feature creep in 48 hours.

Three use cases

When a speed build is appropriate

Three situations where a speed build is the right choice—and one where it isn't.

Use Case 01

Emergency MVP Following Agency Outage

The agency has pulled out of the project, but the launch date is set. We’ll take over the project, clean up whatever needs to be cleaned up, and deliver a deployable version in 48 hours or 5 days. No finger-pointing, no troubleshooting—just delivery.

Use Case 02

Campaign Launch with a Deadline

The trade show is in three days, and the campaign page isn't ready yet. We're building a clean campaign website on TYPO3: landing page, contact form, and basic SEO structure. It can be expanded after the campaign or used as a standalone site.

Use Case 03

Temporary website

Your main relaunch is still 8 weeks away—but the existing website is no longer accessible (due to a hack, hosting provider outage, or an outdated CMS). We’ll provide a clean interim site that will be replaced after the relaunch.

Procedure

Four phases in 48 hours

You can plan for 48 hours—as long as the scope and content are defined before we start. That’s why every Speed Build begins with a one-hour workshop.

// Step 01 / 4 · Dauer ~ Lesson 0–1

Scope Workshop

What’s included, and what’s coming in Phase 2? Pages, content types, design guidelines, hosting. Everything is laid out in writing—we only work with a fixed scope.

  • Site Structure + Content Types
  • Design guidelines: Logo, colors, fonts
  • Secure hosting access + DNS access

Deliverable · Fixed MVP Scope (in writing)

After the speed build: regular custom build or maintenance A speed build is an MVP. If your project continues to grow after launch, we’ll expand it with a regular custom build. The transition is seamless—no data is lost, and the code remains yours.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Five straightforward answers about Scope, pricing, quality, and how it differs from the standard build.

Is a Speed Build result usable in the long term?

Yes. We don’t write throwaway code. The result is a clean TYPO3 v13.4 LTS — Composer-based, version-controlled, and documented. You can expand it with a regular custom build, hand it over to your dev team, or we can manage it as part of a maintenance retainer.

What if the scope changes during the build?

Changes to the scope during the build will be billed on an hourly basis (€108/hour). That’s why we hold a scope workshop before we start: we don’t want any surprises on either side. We deliver exactly what’s in the scope document. Anything not included in the document will incur an additional charge or be addressed in Phase 2.

What do I need to provide in advance?

Before we begin, we need: content in a deliverable format (Word/PDF/Google Doc), a logo in SVG or high-resolution format, color codes (or a design file), and hosting login credentials (or confirmation that we will handle hosting). Without these essentials, we cannot start the Speed-Build.

How is this different from a regular custom build?

The standard Custom Build (starting at €15,000) builds everything from scratch according to your specifications. The Speed Build uses our preconfigured master template and customizes it for your specific needs. This is faster, but less customizable. The Speed Build is sufficient for standard requirements. For complex requirements, the Custom Build is the right choice.

How much does an Emergency Code Rescue cost?

€270/hour net, 2-hour minimum, then in 15-minute increments. For urgent emergencies (server down, critical extension broken). No diagnostic report upfront—we fix it first, then we explain. Transition to a regular support or maintenance contract is possible afterward.
