HTTP

What is HTTP?

HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) is the communication protocol that browsers and web servers use to exchange data on the web. It handles requests using methods such as GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE, and responses using status codes such as 200, 301, 404, or 500. Modern websites use HTTPS, the encrypted version, almost exclusively. At Waterproof Web Wizard, we ensure clean HTTP headers, consistent use of HTTPS, and up-to-date protocol versions (HTTP/2, HTTP/3), any weakness in these areas affects both performance and security.
